“A magnificent banyan tree anchors the twinkling alfresco scene at the Delray Beach restaurant, which enters its 19th year on Swinton Ave. The restaurant, which operates in one of the city’s historic structures, the 1920s-era Tarrimore house, gets its name from the satirical art movement of the time.”
So the romance thing makes total sense to partner Scott Frielich of the Sub-Culture restaurant group, which owns Dada.
“There’s a unique atmosphere at Dada, being that it’s in a historic house. It’s very intimate. Each room from the original home remains, so it’s like dining in somebody’s house,” he says. Plus, “the beauty of the outdoor seating kind of helps.”
