“Howley’s feels like the old-fashioned diners that we occasionally see on TV, complete with stools and counter seats facing the grill, along with tables and chairs in 1950s style surrounded by original paintings, many of which are for sale. There is also outdoor seating for those who prefer al fresco dining.
We started off with a vanilla milkshake to really get into the diner experience, followed by the veggie potato skins, which were rich and delicious. That was followed by the Mother Earth’s Co-Exist Burger — an extremely tasty veggie burger prepped on the grill. The California croissant featured hand-sliced turkey that could have been cut into thinner pieces for a better grip, but it was very tasty. We finished off the meal with a slice of banana cream pie and the Chocolate Thunder Cake, which were every bit as succulent as they sound.”
